Driving the BMW is a luxury, it's noticeably more smooth than the Cayman. The red interior paired with the white exterior and M sport bumpers are really what make the car. The inherent beauty presented mix the aspect of sports cars and luxury. To turn on the car one only has to press a button which is neat but isn't for me; every time I get into the drivers seat I reach for the left because I'm so used to doing that with the Porsche. The clutch is also extremely soft in comparison with the Cayman. Definitely a better car for traffic, even though no standards are good for traffic. Another feature I'd like to bring up, that the Cayman doesn't have, helps when driving in hilly areas. Resting on a hill, whether experienced or not, being in a standard makes you wonder why the person behind you is so close. But the BMW has a two second rollback prevention which makes for a ride at ease.

One issue I have while driving the BMW involves the shifter. Unlike the Cayman, you can really feel the vibration of the car through the shift knob which annoys me and at times makes me feel the car is about to stall. The BMW handles wonderfully but also feels like a boat. Although once put into Sport mode the feeling is more like that of a speed boat due to the surprising quickness presented.
Cruising through neighborhoods with sport mode engaged calls for the windows down. Letting the RPMs run high just a little bit allows you to hear the sweet sound of the engine's turbo booster spin.
It's a small detail but an important one to me. When changing the modes from the four selectable options being Comfort, Eco +, Sport, and Sport plus; a picture shows up on the control camera showing you what part of the car is being engaged with a surprising amount of intricacy.
